This just has to be the day, it must be, it surely must be, fingers crossed folks.
This afternoon, the Hatters are back on the television again in the excellent ongoing rebroadcast of The Big Match Revisited series.
Here at Vital Luton Town, I have religiously watched the programme, on ITV 4, whenever Luton Town have been featured, but I have yet to see them win, in, I think 4, or maybe 5, appearances.
Today that poor streak of form must come to an end as, once again, the programme concentrates on the 1974 / 1975 season, a season when we were playing in the top-flight of English football.
On offer this afternoon is a clash from February 1975 when Luton welcomed Newcastle United to Kenilworth Road.
The other two matches being shown are:
• Norwich City v West Bromwich Albion
And
• Manchester City v Everton
Is this the day The Big Match Revisited shows Luton winning, let’s hope so?
COYH’s
Blackburn Rovers v Luton Town?
Blackburn to Win!
Luton Town to Win!
A Draw!

My first ever game at Kenilworth Road obviously remember score not saying though
And I’m not going to look it up, it spoils the entertainment
