Last week, as far as The Big Match Revisited is concerned, brought a refreshing change.
After watching the Hatters struggle to register a win, on the programme, the misery was broken with Luton beating a Newcastle United side that contained a certain Malcolm MacDonald who was making his first return to Kenilworth Road since being sold.
Today, we could be in for another treat with ‘The Big Match Revisited’ once again featuring the Hatters.
Late this afternoon, with a starting time of 18:00 hours, on ITV, the programme features a titanic clash, from March 1975, between Luton Town and Leeds United.
The other two featured games are:
• Leyton Orient v Aston Villa
And
• Burnley v Arsenal
As is the norm, I am not going to research the results, instead I am going to sit back and watch three matches from a bygone but very enjoyable era.
