Absent from my station yesterday, due to more pressing matters, its time to round up a few odds and sods when it comes to news.
Firstly, something that might not get the approval of everyone due to our disappointing record when featured live on Sky Sports, the satellite channel has chosen to cover, live, our home clash with Bournemouth, on 15th January with the fixture now reverting to a 12:30 kick-off.
Let’s hope that we can show those watching that we can, as we did in the corresponding away fixture, match the team tipped for automatic promotion.
Continuing with January, Luton will be participating in the 3rd round of the FA Cup, last season the domestic cups saw the Hatters given fantastic draws, Manchester United in the League Cup and Chelsea in the FA Cup, it was just a shame that COVID prevented any supporters attending.
On Monday, the draw for the 3rd round of the FA Cup takes place, on Monday evening, the Hatters are ball #24, now wouldn’t it be great if we were matched against ball #41, Watford.
If enough of us long for it, maybe it will happen!
