Luton – Normal Service Set To Resume

Firstly, I must offer my apologies for the lack of articles on Vital Luton Town during the last 72 hours.

Regular visitors might recall that I had a major event looming large, the wedding of my daughter, Charlie, to her beloved.

Apart from the weather, I can report that everything went spectacularly to plan, the limousine, the service, the meal, the speeches, the photos, the buffet, and the celebratory evening.

To say I am a proud man is an understatement, my daughter looked radiantly beautiful and my son-in-law very handsome.

But I never realised how nerve-racking the day could be.

I have never been a good public speaker and, yes, I was hesitant about my speech, but assisted by a couple of alcoholic drinks, I seized the moment and rattled it off perfectly and on finishing I was greeted by a round of applause.

I am sure many of the guests are still nursing sore heads, but a fantastic time was had by all.

Now with the wedding over and the football season fast approaching, it is time to knuckle down and get this site rolling again, but before I sign off this article, I would just like to wish my daughter and son-in-law all the best as they begin married life together.

Good luck and best wishes to you both.
