Luton Today reports that West Bromwich Albion are preparing a £1million for Kevin Foley and Crystal Palace could be about to bid £200K for Matthew Spring.
Meanwhile, in the other direction, they report that Blackwell is looking to sign Marvin Elliott from Millwall as already reported on this site. However, negotiations appear to have stalled while Elliott weighs up his options hoping that a Championship club may come in for him.
Blackwell is also said to have made an offer to Ipswich Town midfielder, Darren Currie.
They report that Currie is willing to drop to League 1.
Luton’s offer of a two year contract to 32 yr old Currie could bear fruit by the weekend.
Currie played against Luton last season for Coventry City and Derby County while on loan from Ipswich.
No further information has been forthcoming about reported offers of short term contracts to Paul Peschisolido and Paul Furlong.
