Reflecting on what gossip I may have missed during my enforced absence; I came across something interesting.

Although the transfer window may be closed, until January, it does not stop speculation appearing relating to players clubs may be interested in.

According to our colleagues over at Football League World, Luton Town are being linked with the possible acquisition of the emerging Harrogate Town midfielder, Alex Pattison.

Pattison, just 24-years-of-age, has featured heavily for the League Two side this season and in 10 appearances has notched up 5 goals and provided a further 2 assists.

On paper, those statistics are impressive but then again, you would have to ask yourself whether Luton need another midfielder with the squad having already been bolstered, in that position, in the summer by the signings of Allan Campbell and Henri Lansbury.

But it does seem that Luton are not the only Championship club being linked with the player, with Swansea City and Blackpool also getting honourable mentions.

Personally, I would be very surprised if Luton did make a move to sign Pattison, how about you?

You missed out the fact mh that we have just signed Elliott Thorpe as well. Who everyone says could be our next kdh. Nj has already said he expects Thorpe to be pushing for a place in the team when he is up to speed. So why would we need this guy.
