Luton – It Is A Massive Game

The local derby, against Watford, is now only a matter of days away.

It is a crying shame that the pandemic will prevent any supporters being inside the ground to create that unique atmosphere the derby generates.

As the game approaches, the Hatters support will be hoping their side can do them proud and take the three points on offer, thereby slightly derailing Watford’s promotion charge.

It is the least they can expect, especially after playing so poorly in the reciprocating fixture earlier in the season.

At Vicarage Road, the Hatters lost 1-0 but, disappointingly, never had a shot on target.

The closest they came was when a close range shot from James Collins crashed against the bar.

Who knows if that had of gone in it could have been a completely different story!

This Saturday, it remains to be seen which way the pendulum springs but one Hatter, Kazenga LuLua, has certainly picked up on the vibes when it comes to realising how important the fixture is to Luton supporters.

LuaLua, as reported by Luton Today has remarked:

“It’s a massive game.

“We played them earlier in the season and it wasn’t a good game, we didn’t do well.

“It’s a big game for the fans, so we’re hoping to get the three points.”

No hope about it Kazenga, just do it, it would mean so much for the Hatters support who have been waiting years for the opportunity to beat our near neighbours in the league.

But one last point, do you believe LuaLua will start on Saturday or will he have to be content with a place on the bench?

Whatever the case, let’s hope we see one of those celebratory double somersaults.

Please feel free to have your say on the above subject matter.

Sorry but I think Lua Lua will start from the bench. But would it be great if he came on and scored the winning goal and then did his special back flip.

I also hope Jones will start both Collins and Adebaho as front strikers with a 4-4-2 team line-up.
The most important fact is we must score the first goal or otherwise we are doomed ( prove me wrong) town go on and win the game as it will our last chance to play Watford for some years to come.

we must not start slow and concede an early goal as we have done so many times this season

Hi all, lua lua always seems to play better from the bench. He tends to disappear when he starts…strange one really…would also like him to start and prove me wrong….
