The 2021 / 2022 season may be a few months away but, here at Vital Luton Town, we are eager to see who is, in the coming summer, being linked with a move to Kenilworth Road.

With Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall set to return to Leicester City, after a season-long loan spell with us, it remains to be seen if Brendan Rodgers, the Leicester manager, will be keen to let Luton have the midfielder for another loan spell.

However, delving into the media sources available to us, we have uncovered the possibility of another young, Premier League midfielder possibly coming to play for the Hatters.

According to The Newcastle Chronicle , Luton could be set to make another move to secure, on loan, the services of Elliot Anderson.

Back in the days when the January transfer window was open, Nathan Jones made an attempt to bring the 18-year-old to our club for the second half of the season.

Sadly, the move was unsuccessful with Steve Bruce, the Newcastle manager, wanting to retain his services with a view to giving him some match time in what remained of the season.

But Newcastle’s involvement in the relegation battle prevented that and the youngster has only sampled three minutes of first-team action.

Although I have no reason to doubt Nathan’s belief that he could do a job for the Hatters, I do have concerns about his age.

The Championship is an unforgiving league and at 18-years-of-age he may find it a little too physical.

However, I guess we will never know unless the lad is given a chance to shine.

Here at Vital Luton Town, we will endeavour to monitor the situation and report back as deemed necessary.

But what are your views on this possible signing, are you for or against?

Morning mh, personally I look at the numbers we have already supposed attacking midfielders and don’t see the need for him. We have our own young players trying to break in the team why aren’t we promoting them. The old adage if there good enough there old enough well why have great players been loaned out by prem teams simple to raise money to sell them on. Why play a young prem boy only for them to profit by our work when we can profit by playing our own boys

Hi all, bit contradictory there, if its a tough league for a 18 year old from Newcastle, it’s still a tough league for one of our own….think its a case of wait and see who is kept on…plus we will have lockeyer, kioso and osho back in contention….
