This evening, the Hatters support will be hoping that their side can produce the form they produced in the second half, against Sheffield Wednesday, as opposed to the awful first-half display.
In recent weeks, the most contentious issue, relating to the side, has been the starting XI that Nathan Jones has selected.
After a few dismal displays, most notably against Cardiff (h) and Stoke (a), Nathan Jones was urged to make wholesale changes ahead of the clash with Millwall.
Nathan did just that and only a last-gasp stoppage time equaliser prevented the Hatters from taking all three points after a spirited display.
For the Sheffield Wednesday game, we asked for more of the same and Nathan responded by making just one change.
But for some reason, those who had done so well against Millwall produced an awful forty-five minutes which saw Luton enter the half time break trailing 2-0.
At half time, Nathan chose to change matters and introduced three substitutes with Rea, Mpanzu and Cornick coming on for Cranie, Morrell and Ince.
The rest, as they say, is history as Luton pulled off a fine comeback to take the three points.
But what should Nathan do tonight with regards to team selection?
If you were Nathan, who would make your starting XI?

Luton – It Is A Strange Old Game
Morning mh, I think this is now to tough to call. After the last 4 games I don’t know if Nathan has a clue or his staff as to who is going to perform well apart from 2 players we know who they are maybe 3 if you include tunnicliffe. So what chance do we have. I will just say that whatever team he puts out has to perform an get some sort of result this is another team round about us we have to get some distance from. Before Norwich on Sat.
It is and we must NOT concede an early goal

Set up to play the diamond….stick with it, it works…dont worry how forest line up, let them worry about us….
Yes I agree, play the diamond & I would start with the same team that played 2nd half against Wednesday & see how it goes. Would also like to see Collins come off the bench & combine with our new ‘hero striker’ just to see if that partnership has potential. Hope now NJ rotates squad more in upcoming matches so players are fresher for the battles ahead & it may promote more competition for places & hopefully reduce injuries to one’s that have probably overplayed & were looking quite jaded
