Well, would you believe it, does three points come any better than that?

There I was, ready to pen whether, with the game in stoppage time and sat at 2-2, it was a point won or two points lost and along comes Kal Naismith and smashes in a world class goal, to send Kenilworth Road into a maelstrom of emotion.

The goal showed those watching the live coverage on Sky Sports that we are far better than our current position in the Championship and could, perhaps, gate-crash the play-offs.

Naturally, the ground was bouncing as the referee called a halt to proceedings and the social media sites have started to move into overdrive with the supporters’ ecstatic about the events they had just witnessed:

I’m sure there are many more positive comments to come but, to me, it is important that we keep the momentum going from this marvellous win and see off Reading, away, in midweek.

Evening mh, what a great win 😁 superb late goal for naismith. But our feeling sfter the game is still we’re to jekyll and Hyde with this team to expect a play off place. It will be dependent on what we can sign in the window and if we become more consistent. But it shows this team can compete with anyone just don’t do it against lower teams.

I don’t think many sides will push Bournemouth and Fulham they way we have in the past few games. Hopefully today will breed confidence going into a hectic 5/6 weeks ahead. ….Just a quick insight, we picked up a few knocks today. Not long term, but some may struggle for Wednesday.

including Nathan with his slight hamstring twinge following his Mourinho impression πŸ™‚

OK Alan we agree we push big sides. But why can’t we do it against the rest as has been pointed out anyone beats anyone an consistency is key. We don’t show that. So let’s put a run together an prove it. Is it to much to soon?

    You’ve got a heavenly touch
Are you sure your not Dutch?
    At long last you’ve arrived
And I thank God I’m alive
You’re just too good to be true
Can’t take my eyes off you

Well shout Kaldini, right through the fkin night
We love Kaldini, trust in me when I say:

I hope we dont sign anyone in January.
Mendes Gomes not given a look in & Berry, Lockyer, Osho , & others struggling to get chances in the team . Elliot Thorpe surely deserves chances & bit part player Lansbury amongst our Highest wage earners !!

well said david. two of them players should be in the left midfield, instead of my mate.what a great player campbell is, and fred injects some much needed trickery into the team .as always naismith shows his skill..with a very classy goal.

  • Alan says:

Get what you mean chris. But teams below us, do to us what we do to teams above us…
