Currently, the Hatters, once the season starts, will have three fit goalkeepers pushing for that green jersey.
The recent signing of Ethan Horvath will result in Matt Macey and Harry Isted being forced to compete with a keeper who has ambitions of playing for the USA in the Qatar World Cup Finals.
It is all a far cry from the back end of last season when, to put it bluntly, after James Shea picked up a nasty injury, Luton found themselves bereft of a keeper.
But what do we know our latest arrival, Ethan Horvath?
As is the norm, we’ve put together a mini fact file so you can get acquainted with the young American:
Name – Ethan Shea Horvath
Date of Birth – 09-June-1995
Place of Birth – Highlands Ranch, Colorado, USA
Position – Goalkeeper
Height – 6 feet 3 inches
Youth Career – Real Colorado
Professional Career – Molde, Club Brugge, Nottingham Forest, Luton Town
International Honours – United States U20, United States U23, United States
Here at Vital Luton Town we’d like to take this opportunity to formally welcome Ethan to our fine club and here’s hoping he has a successful time with us.

Luton Support Reacts To New Keeper Signing
Hi all , I feel sorry for Harry looks like he is not going to get a chance again this season . I can’t quite put my finger on it but I feel we are still missing that one plater that is going to come in and set the team alight . I hope the young players get the chance to show us what they can do if not what is the point of having them at Luton, why keep them . Coyh
you hit the nail on the head, andrew. this new keeper says he wants to play, thats what kioso said, and he was sold. as the goalie is such an important member of the team, i hope we find the right one. i kind of hope that isted shines through, if he stays.? COYH.
