Luton – Sell Or Keep – Elliot Lee

The season, as far as Luton Town are concerned, may be over, but there is still plenty of football coming our way that will satisfy our appetite.

Yesterday, the League One season came to an end and anybody watching Sky Sports may well have noticed Elliot Lee scoring as Oxford United thrashed Burton Albion to claim the last available play-off spot.

Elliot is still a Luton Town player but joined Oxford United, on loan, for the remainder of the season back in the days when the January transfer window was set to close.

Since joining Oxford United, and at the time of writing, Elliot has made 14 league appearances and has notched 4 goals and Oxford supporters will be hoping the player can continue that form as they prepare to take on Blackpool in a two-legged semi-final with the prize of a place in the play-off final, at Wembley, at stake for the winners against either Sunderland or Lincoln City.

But and getting to the crux of this article, does Elliot still have a future at Kenilworth Road?

I recall reading some posts from those who frequent Vital Luton Town, inferring they believe he still has something to offer the club.

But what are your feelings on the subject matter?

Morning mh, it’s sad to say it but nj obviously doesn’t see Lee as
a player going forward or why loan him out in Jan. Personally I think he had a raw deal at the beginning of the season. He never performed that badly compared to anyone else. An wasn’t given a chance to score the goals we so badly needed. So I feel nj will let him go.

morning all, agree with all the above, i think he’s also out of contract in the summer so i can unfortunately see him leaving for Oxford permanently.

Another player that NJ didn’t seem to rate, I thought he gave us another dimension.
Would have been interesting to see him play alongside Adebayo
    Its a keep for me
