The decision to loan Peter Kioso, to Bolton Wanderers, for the remainder of the season, was one that was questioned by the Hatters support.

Many felt that the young defender, after his performance in the Carabao Cup, against Manchester United, was good enough for the player to be considered for selection for Nathan Jones first team.

However, the decision was made and all we can do is trust in Nathan’s judgement while monitoring how the youngster is doing at Bolton, in League Two.

Well, it seems that Kioso has settled in very well with the Trotters.

In the defeat to Oldham, he claimed the assist for the Bolton goal and in the 3-3 draw with Barrow, last night, he scored the first Bolton goal.

His performances have been well received by the Bolton support on social media, with the following posts highlighting just how well he is doing:

But as for this last post, I am sorry, but the answer is a firm NO!

Peter Kioso, in my opinion, bound for the Luton Town first team in the very near future.

Hi mh, the only surprising thing about this is letting him go on loan in the first place!!!!! I was the one who announced last season on the Friday that we would be signing a new player on the Monday that was kioso I also said how highly rated he is by the coaches an staff before the season and said on here he would be in contention for a starting position. When he did against man utd he showed glimpses of how good ha could be. Both Alan and I questioned the sense of loaning him out at the time. Now nj is complaining that the schedule is taking its toll an he needs everyone. Well a full back is needed now an where is the cover ON LOAN AT BOLTON. you couldn’t make it up!!!! I will continue championing kioso until I see proof he isn’t progressing and I would still like to see the young striker play on Saturday if you’re good enough your old enough as they say the team needs a good shake up an wake up call after Tuesday night and nj needs to stop his total faith in his “players” an wake them up
