Yesterday, ahead of what proved to be an enthralling match against our local rivals Watford, I was planning to write an article with the above title.
Its aim was to highlight that yesterday was the perfect opportunity for somebody to step forward and become a hero, become a legend.
Sadly, time beat me, most probably due to the early kick-off.
But, the morning after the day before, the same thought raced through my mind but, reflecting on the action, I cannot decide who was the man-of-the-match yesterday.
It seems that the decision is something the Hatters twitter account could not decide either:
Twitter polls are down so we've decided to give Man of the Match to the whole team instead! π§‘

and the theory that every player should be given the accolade also appeared in the following tweet:
Every single player was 10/10 today. Feels bad to single one out for Man Of The Match as every player played their part π§‘

Now originally, before the gremlins got into twitter, four names were proposed:
β’ Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu
β’ Jordan Clark
β’ Kal Naismith
β’ Kazenga LuaLua
But who gets your vote, a single player or everyone that contributed?
Please feel free to have your say in the comment facility beneath this article.

Luton β Donβt Tar Them All With The Same Brush
Hi MH, how about the whole team each receiving the award? After all you couldn’t decide & nor could I & many others too you would suspect. As for why can’t we perform like that every week perhaps Luton should employ a hypnotist that comes in just before kick off each week & once the team are under his trance could then tell them they are playing Watford today, bring them round then hey presto we could become the first team ever to win all 46 matches in a season lol. But seriously a wonderful result wasn’t it & as others have already stated would be nice now if that form could be replicated against Reading, who are of course another quality side.
we cannot afford to rest on our laurels, like you say Reading are a decent side.
Ps, how cool was Mr Collins to come straight off the bench after a long delay & just step up to calmy slot the pen in the bottom right hand corner of ye olde thunion bag. COYH
not a sign of somebody lacking in confidence π
Hi all, if only football was as simple as playing like that every week… yesterday may just give the players the confidence to finish the season on a high….super performance
