Town Boss Richard Money has stated that as far as he is concerned the transfer window is shut already. He ruled out an exit for Tom Craddock and said that even if an offer we couldn’t refuse came in he would not be bringing in a striker as we have enough.

He said a few youngsters might go out on loan for the experience but does not envisage any players coming in.

He stated:

“One or two of the youngsters might go on loan in the next two or three weeks, but I don`t envisage anybody of first team standing leaving the football club at this stage.

“Tom Craddock is in a good place right now and is part of a very tight-knit group of players.”

Pointing out that we have Dan Walker on the periphery and Claude Gnakpa as a possible striker, we currently have six potential first team strikers.

He continued:

“We have six strikers,” He said. “We will not be signing another striker, I can promise that.

“If Tom Craddock went for a lot of money on Tuesday, which is not going to happen, we still won`t be bringing in another striker to this football club. We don`t need one.”
