The sight of Luke Guttridge being carried away on a stretcher against Alfreton will have caused the Luton faithful serious concern.
Guttridge has been a revelation this season and his 13 goals have helped our promotion cause. His scoring form, in recent times, has seen him net tin three successive games.
The injury appeared to be a muscle tear as opposed to a break of some kind although the Hatters manager, John Still, is still waiting for confirmation as to how bad the injury is with Still remarking after our latest victory,
“We`ll have a look and see what it is, but at the moment I don`t know.”
Hopefully, Luke will only be on the side-lines for a short period as he is an essential part of the Hatters machine.
