The game is still several hours away but already the butterflies in my stomach are starting to flutter.

I know our play-off aspirations are not dependent on the Hatters getting a result, at Craven Cottage, this afternoon but I’m guessing I’m not the only supporter who wants to see everything riding on getting a positive result, against Reading, in the last game of the season.

But with so much at stake, how do those who voted in our pre-match poll see this one going?

Well, the majority, 48%, reckon it’ll end all-square with a draw their favoured option.

Elsewhere, 27% reckon Luton will get what would be their best result of the season, a win, with the remaining 25% believing Fulham will win thereby forcing the scenario I previously mentioned upon us.

However, how does Sky Sports resident Championship expert, David Prutton, see this one going?

Ahead of the game Prutton summed things up as below:

“Fulham looked a little sloppy in midweek as they missed a chance to clinch the title. It could be won by Monday depending on what happens elsewhere, and they would love to lift the trophy in front of their own fans at Craven Cottage.

“Luton again will be keeping a keen eye on results over the weekend. They will want to get the job done one way or another and get that top-six spot. I think they have enough for a draw in this one, despite all the injuries.”

Prutton suggests the game will end 1-1, I’d take that, wouldn’t you?
