Lawless Fined!

And deservedly so!

And deservedly so!

When Alex Lawless failed to appear for the second half at York City, on Saturday, it was naturally assumed that he`d picked up an injury.

On Sunday, details emerged that Lawless had broken his hand. Naturally it was thought it had been done in a challenge, but that wasn`t the case.

It appears that Lawless, in his frustration at Luton`s poor, no sorry appalling, first half, decided to take out his frustrations on the dressing room wall and subsequently punched it.

Naturally, the wall came off best and Lawless will now be out of action for a month.

Gary Brabin, understandably, isn`t a happy hatter and has fined Lawless and remarked to the local radio station,

“He does care and it was against his former club, I can understand the frustration.”

“But his act has now cost us for the next month or so.”

“I`ve spoken to Alex at length, he`s absolutely gutted. He understands (the punishment) but we`ll be keeping that in-house, he realizes he`s let us down and he`ll be dealt with accordingly.”

Ironically, Lawless was already suspended for the forthcoming clash with Cambridge United.
