On Saturday afternoon, live on Sky Sports, the Hatters got back to winning ways when they beat Barnet 2-0.

The win was most welcome after the one-time long-term leaders of League Two hadn`t won for five games.

People may suggest that the win was something that should have been expected with Barnet lurking at the bottom of the League Two table.

However, the North London club had recently changed their manager, bringing in Martin Allen, a move that can see a change of fortune for a struggling side.

Following the 2-0 win, courtesy of second-half goals from Danny Hylton and James Collins, the Hatters manager had a few words for the media, remarking,

“We have kept our first clean-sheet in a while, which is confidence boosting. Now we have to back that up.

“There are six games to go, people thought we`d be comfortable, but it ain`t like that.

“You have to show character and grind out results.”

You do, and on Saturday the Hatters did after a first-half that wasn`t too inspiring.
