When the Hatters decided to bring in Joe Pigott, it was hoped the striker would bring with him a hatful of goals, sadly it hasn`t quite happened.

Although Joe`s endeavour can`t be faulted that little bit of luck he might be looking for to register that first Luton goal has not been forthcoming.

You get the feeling one goal could, for the 22-year-old, start a goal-rush,

On Saturday, against Stevenage, Joe showed no signs of getting on the score-sheet and ending that goal-drought and, with the hour mark having passed, was substituted.

When pushed on the subject, by the local media, Nathan Jones admitted that a lack of goals from Jose was a concern, remarking,

“Joe`s a goal-scorer, well I believe Joe`s a goal-scorer, I`ve worked with Joe and he`s been a goal-scorer, he`s not actually proving that at the minute, so we`ll have to look at that.”

Just that one chance, one golden chance to get off the mark, will be the catalyst for several more, that`s my belief.
