Catching up on a few things, we not yet covered who Luton were paired with in the draw for the FA Cup last Monday.

With the 4th Qualifying round almost upon us, Luton have been given a plum tie, away to local rivals Cambridge United.

The tie will take place on Saturday 20th October although it will not kick-off at 15:00 hours with the police having advised that it would be better off taking place, considering previous form between the two sets of supporters, at 13:00 hours.

Thankfully, Paul Buckle looks set to take the competition seriously telling the local media when asked if he`d take the competition less seriously with promotion the priority,

“No way, it`s the FA Cup, we won`t be taking any rest, you won`t see me fielding a weakened team in any competition this season.”

Glad to hear it Paul, we`re longing for a plum third round tie against one of the big boys of the Premier League.
