If It Happens Today Don’t Say You Weren’t Warned

With the kick-off, here at Oakwell, less than an hour away, I’ve got this nervous feeling dogging me.

After digesting the team-sheets, it appears that a former favourite of the Hatters support is in the Barnsley starting eleven.

That former favourite being none other than Cameron McGeehan.

McGeehan won the hearts of the Hatters support with his unerring ability to score a plethora of goals from midfield.

When it was announced that he’d left Luton Town Football Club to join Barnsley, I was absolutely gutted.

But returning to that nervous feeling, I have this awful premonition that Cameron is going to do to the Hatters something that many other players have done to their previous clubs before, namely, score.

When you get the opportunity, take a glimpse at the scores tomorrow of all the games and see how many players do score against their former clubs, it’s something that happens on a regular basis.

Here’s hoping that if Cameron does hit the back of the net, then the Hatters will be able to out-score Barnsley.

Strange though that McGeehan left the Hatters to play football in a higher league and yet our paths cross today!
