Luton travel to take on Cheltenham this Saturday, a second away trip on the bounce.

On Tuesday the Hatters were forced to make the epic trip to the north-east to take on Hartlepool United, in a game that ended 1-1.

The fixture was notable for the fact that Nathan Jones included two seventeen-year-olds in his back-four, in Akin Famewo and James Justin.

It`ll be interesting to see it either keep their places for the fixture this Saturday.

However, ahead of the trip Nathan Jones has confirmed that he is under no pressure to sell any of those coming through the ranks from the Academy, remarking,

‘They won’t be going anywhere. They’re happy here. We showed in the last transfer window we’re not a selling club.

‘We’re a progressive club taking forward strides. If they want first-team football, here is the chance.’

Now that`s exactly what we wanted to here, a club determined to hang onto its youngsters as it strives to move forward.
