Yesterday, Luton Town fought hard to earn a 0-0 draw away to Blackpool.

It was one of those games where supporters of both clubs will argue that their side could have snatched it.

Both sides had excellent chances but both goalkeepers rose to the occasion pulling off fine saves.

But, in the aftermath of the game, we’re reflecting on the Hatters travelling army that continue to travel the length and breadth of the country.

At Bloomfield Road yesterday, there were 1382 Hatters fans n the stand behind the goal, now that figure, represented approximately a third of the total attendance of 4124.

It’s a long way to Blackpool, a trip of approximately 207 miles, or 4 hours, if the traffic is in your favour, on the road.

Some may, like myself, have decided to make a weekend of it, even if the weather wasn’t perhaps suited to a weekend by the sea, but the dedication the support shows is immense and long may it continue as the Hatters strive to climb through the divisions.
