With Cameron McGeehan having been sold to Barnsley, it appears Luton Town haven`t taken long to spend some of the ‘undisclosed fee` on a player.

News broke this morning that for an ‘undisclosed fee` Nathan Jones has secured the services of Jack Stacey.

Stacey has joined Luton Town Football Club on a two-year deal from Reading.

A product of the youth system at Reading, Stacey made 6 appearances for the Royals` having spent most of his career, so far, out on loan.

Last season, Stacey was on loan at Exeter City where he made 38 appearances and helped Exeter to a play-off play, but like ourselves Exeter were beaten at the semi-final stages.

Talking about his latest acquisition, Nathan Jones remarked to the media,

‘He fits the profile of what we want from an attacking full-back.

‘He’s young, he’s hungry and wants to get better, so added to the experience we’ve already brought in, he`s another exciting one for us.’

Welcome to Kenilworth Road Jack Stacey, here`s hoping your stay is a successful and enjoyable one.

Meanwhile, we`re left to ponder just how much of the ‘undisclosed fee` is left out of the McGeehan transfer fund after buying Stacey for an ‘undisclosed fee` or is that undisclosed?
