To concede a goal as late as we did, against Charlton Athletic on Saturday hurt.

The disappointment of seeing two points lost in such dramatic style was in stark contrast to the Charlton supporters who celebrated wildly in the Oak Road Stand at their good fortune.

This Tuesday, the Hatters get the chance to get back to winning ways when they make the relatively short trip to Oxford to play United.

However, if the Hatters are to get a crucial win, they’ll have to buck a trend.

Since climbing into League One, the Hatters away form has been somewhat disappointing, with the majority of our points coming from our home fixtures.

But, despite that, it’s fair to say that Luton have not been outplayed in any of their away trips, they’ve just been left to rue missed chances and lost opportunities.

Here at Vital Luton, we’re hoping you’ll take this opportunity to partake in our poll relating to the game:

For the record books, I’m sticking my head above the parapet and going for a Hatters victory by the odd goal in three.

But, how do you see this one going, please feel free to drop a score-line into our comments facility beneath this article?
