Can Luton Town upset the odds against Oxford United this afternoon?

It`s an interesting question and the neutrals would suggest not considering Luton`s iffy form in recent weeks compared to Oxford`s charge towards promotion.

But then again Hatters fans would counter that argument by declaring that Luton have won at the grounds of other high-flyers such as Wycombe Wanderers and Plymouth Argyle.

Talking to the local media about the trip to Oxford, Nathan Jones is quoted as having remarked,

‘Oxford are not second in the league for nothing – they play with a high tempo, they’ve got some good quality players and they’re a very dangerous side.

‘Their manager has been able to put his stamp on things. It will be a good gauge for us, but a game we’re looking forward to.

‘We’re looking forward to the test and going at them. I think generally we’ve been in good form, it’s a shame that we haven’t picked up maybe three more points in that home spell we had.

‘If we had, it would have been an interesting scenario, but we’ll be ready.’

My money is going on a draw, how about you?
