The rumour mill had been alive with the inference that Luton Town were set to add a central defender to the squad.

Just recently, here at Vital Luton Town, we posted an article covering the suggestion, Click Here.

Today, that speculation has become reality with the Plymouth Argyle centre-back, Sonny Bradley, agreeing to join the Hatters when his current deal, at Home Park, expires.

Bradley is a solid defender who has played in League One with two clubs, Crawley and Plymouth.

During his time with Plymouth, Bradley quickly established himself as a crowd favourite, but the lure of playing for the Hatters was just too strong.

Talking to the official site, Click Here, Nathan Jones had this to say about his latest addition to the squad:

“Sonny is naturally left-footed, a real good size, an excellent defender and he gets goals from set plays, so he’s someone we have liked and have wanted to bring to Luton for a while.”

Whilst the player himself added:

“I’m delighted. It’s been a long couple of days getting down here, but I’ve finally got the paperwork and stuff signed, so I just want to get started now.”

Here at Vital Luton Town, we applaud the club on making this signing, at 26-years-of-age, Bradley is approaching the peak of his career and when that’s allied with the experience he has of playing in League One he’ll provide competition for places whilst also strengthening the squad.

Welcome to Kenilworth Road Sonny Bradley, may your time with us be successful.
