Lurking in the local media this weekend was the inference that Luton Town could lose the talented midfielder Pelly-Ruddock Mpanzu.

Our friends at Bedfordshire on Sunday are suggesting that Mpanzu could be headed to Nottingham Forest, to play football in a higher division.

Although Nathan Jones will, we`re sure, do his best to hang onto the former West Ham United youngster, the call of a higher division can often be too alluring to refuse for a player.

But, if Mpanzu was to leave, who could Luton recruit as a suitable replacement?

According to the Football League World, Luton could do worse than look towards Sunderland.

Our quoted source has identified the Black Cats midfielder George Honeyman as the perfect replacement.

Although Honeyman, just 22-years-of-age, recently penned a new two-year deal at the Stadium of Light, it`s suggested that Sunderland might be keen for the player to get more match time next season as opposed to just the five appearances he made in the Premier League last season, therefore a loan deal could be on the cards.

So how about it Luton, are you going to follow their advice?
