The inclement weather we`ve experienced over the past week or so, especially last night, has put the home Conference clash with Lincoln City, on Tuesday night, in doubt.

With the Hatters already in danger of being swamped by fixture congestions, as they continue to battle on two cup fronts, the last thing we need is for a fixture to be postponed because of a snow covered pitch.

Therefore, in an attempt to ensure that the game goes ahead, Luton are asking for volunteers to come and help to clear the snow off of the Kenilworth Road pitch whilst also assisting in making the are around the ground safe.

If anyone can assist then further details are available on the official site.

But, here at Vital Luton Town, we`d like to point out that a similar appeal by Watford, resulted in 100 volunteers turning up, something that impressed Gianfranco Zola, surely we can do better than Watford can`t we?
