Hatters Must Make It Two Wins On The Bounce This Tuesday Evening

|

After the glory of the late win, at Kenilworth Road, on Saturday, when the Hatters come back from the dead to beat Wigan Athletic with two late goals, is it too much to hope the win could give the team the momentum needed to climb up the table?

The reason I ask is that with the festive season fast approaching the fixture list now starts to intensify.

We’re at the period of the season where three quick wins can change fortunes around and that is a point perfectly illustrated by the fact that tomorrow, the Hatters are back in action when they travel to the Bet365 Stadium to take on Stoke City.

Now, a couple of weeks ago, this was a game that every Hatters fan had marked in their diaries, a chance to let Nathan Jones know exactly what they thought of him for leaving Luton to join Stoke.

But that’s all water under the bridge now with Nathan’s reign at Stoke City having ended after a disastrous run of results.

However, the fixture still, in my opinion, remains one of the most important of the season for the Hatters.

We’re travelling to take on a side that are beneath us in the table and on a poor run of form.

Three points at the Bet365 Stadium will increase the gap between ourselves, and the relegation zone ahead of what looks to be a difficult trip to the north-west to take on Preston North End, on Saturday.

Can the Hatters rise to the occasion and make it two wins out of two on Tuesday evening?

Stoke City v Luton Town?

Stoke City to Win!

Stoke City to Win!

Luton Town to Win!

Luton Town to Win!

A Draw!

A Draw!
