The Hatters are on the road this Saturday looking to keep their marvellous recent run of form going.

The opposition, for Luton Town Football Club, this Saturday are Walsall, a side that are currently in 14th place in league One, with 31 points, some 19 fewer than Luton.

Luton have won their last seven League One fixtures, accumulating a fantastic 21 points out of the 21 available.

That scintillating form has lifted the side to second place in the table, just a solitary point behind the league leaders, Portsmouth.

Although we should point out that Sunderland, lurking in third place, will go top if they win their two games in hand.

But these are enjoyable times to be a Hatters fan as we start to contemplate whether Nathan Jones can lead us to back-to-back promotion campaigns.

However, there’s still a long way to go before we can book the celebration in St George’s Square.

Meanwhile, let’s take it one game at a time and concentrate on beating Walsall, something I reckon we’ll do, making it eight wins from eight consecutive league games.
