Since arriving at Kenilworth Road, James Shea hasn`t seen much action.

However, our second-choice goalkeeper remains a valuable member of the squad, prepared to step in if anything unfortunate befalls Marek Stech.

But, it would appear that Shea is enjoying life at Kenilworth Road as he has put pen-to-paper on a new deal.

The club has confirmed that 26-year-old Shea, who has been restricted to just five appearances in the EFL Trophy, has signed a new two-year-deal.

Talking about the decision, Shea has remarked,

‘I’ve really enjoyed my time here, even though I haven’t played as much as I’d have liked.”

With Nathan Jones further adding,

‘He’s been a little bit unfortunate that due to the form of Marek, his game time is limited, but he has developed as a goalkeeper.’

Great news for James and great news for Luton I`d say
