Sadly, I’m unable to get to Kenilworth Road tomorrow (Sunday) for the Hatters latest League One fixture.

Work circumstances have contrived to leave me abandoned in the north-west and I’ll be one of those absent supporters whose heart may be at Kenilworth Road but wishes his body was as well.

Nevertheless, thanks to the wonderful folk of Sky Sports, and the well-equipped hotel I’m staying in, I will be able to follow Luton from afar.

The Hatters, for the first time in an age, are live on Sky Sports with their home fixture, against Coventry City, starting a hectic day of televised live football.

With nothing better to do, on a Sunday afternoon, other than to relax with a few beers, I can’t wait to see the Hatters further extend their record-breaking unbeaten run, against a side who, like ourselves, have played at a higher level previously.

Following what we hope will be a Luton win, it’ll then be the turn of Manchester United to take on Liverpool in a fixture that could have major ramifications as to where the 2018 / 2019 Premier League title may end up.

Then it’s the Carabao Cup Final with Chelsea and Manchester City going head-to-head at Wembley with both sides hoping to claim the first piece of major silverware on offer this season.

Now I know I’m, along with numerous others, are going to enjoy all three games but wouldn’t it be great if the Hatters could serve up the most memorable 90 minutes.
