Earlier this week, we expressed our fears that the Hatters support could be set to bid farewell to one of our own.

Our article, sad-day-for-luton-fans-as-defenders-departure-looks-to-be-imminent, carried the inference that it was only a matter of time before James Justin cleared out his locker and prepared for life with a Premier League side.

Sadly, that moment came yesterday with the BBC, announcing that Justin had left Luton Town Football Club and had, as we suggested was most likely, joined Leicester City.

Justin, just 21-years-of-age, has signed a five-year deal with Brendan Rodgers side and will offer the Premier League club versatility on the pitch with the Luton born player able to perform just as well on both the right and left side of the pitch.

Naturally, our referenced source carries some quotes from Justin, with the player reported as having remarked:

“I’m over the moon”

a standard footballing quote there, before further adding:

“I feel like I’m ready for this moment. I hope to bring a lot of energy and commitment to the badge.”

Although, here at Vital Luton Town, we’re absolutely gutted to lose James, we can see exactly why he’s opted to join a Premier League side, his talent will see him thrive and we’ve no doubt the Leicester City fans will soon appreciate the youngsters’ performances.

As is usually the case, we’re also sure our paths will cross again and when it does we’re sure that James will get the good reception he deserves.

But one thing does bug me about the move; once again the price remains undisclosed!

As supporters do we not have a right to know how much Luton received for James or is the fee not quite as high as it should be?

Your thoughts, please!
