Has This Player Done Enough To Earn A Permanent Deal With Luton Town?

One interesting selection, made by Nathan Jones on Saturday, when it came to naming his starting XI was Izzy Brown.

Brown, a player who has been on loan, at Kenilworth Road from Chelsea, is a player who was strongly favoured by the previous boss, Graeme Jones.

Against Preston North End, like others in the middle of the park, it is probably fair to say that Brown struggled to prevent our visitors from controlling that area of the pitch for the majority of the game.

With Brown’s loan spell set to end, when the 2019 / 2020 season finally does end, an important decision has to be made.

When it comes to loan players, the rules are changing, clubs like Chelsea will only be allowed to loan out a certain number of players as opposed to the plethora they do now, or as somebody once pointed out the West London club has more players out on loan than most clubs have in their squads.

Therefore, the big question I’m asking this morning is whether, if the price is right, would Izzy Brown be a decent summer signing?

Should Luton Town Consider Buying Izzy Brown?

Hi mh, would I buy izzy sadly no. So far this season he’s looked injury prone. Also he’s what I would a luxury player he’s obviously very talented but then so was french. I think we already have players at the club better suited to the team ethic. So I don’t see the point of him and think other areas need cover.

Good player but seems to be injury prone, his form is also inconsistent his team ethic is not suited to the way we play

Morning, I’ve said before izzy is a good player with the ball, but doesn’t like looking for it or fighting to win it.also his corners free kicks etc are woeful. Personally I think macca, moncs offer fair more. Plus we do have o’kane for next season. So i don’t think he is worth signing…I would be looking at Carter vickers 1st..

  • Chris winter says:

Hi Alan, 100% agree with you Cameron vickers – Carter must be our no1 priority for signing

Hmmm love to have Izzy in the squad but I wish he would match the effort that other team players put in, off the ball. I don’t think he is hungry enough.
Vickers-Carter is more important to us at this time. Having said that, if the price was right. Then yes I would keep him.
