Harford To Remain In Hatters Hot-Seat For The Remainder Of This Season

|

After the sudden decision, made by Nathan Jones, to quit, the Hatters were left pondering over what to do with regards to the managerial hot-seat.

Whilst a correct path of action was planned, Mick Harford agreed to take on the position on a caretaker basis whilst the Hatters hierarchy studied what options were open to them.

Some five games on, we’re still none the wiser as to who will be the next incumbent of the Kenilworth Road hot-seat, with the hierarchy knowing that they have to get this decision right.

Thankfully, since Harford took over, the Hatters have continued the momentum Jones input has given them, winning five league games on the bounce and extending their unbeaten run to 19 games.

It’s obvious to all and sundry that there is no need to disrupt the well-oiled Hatters machine.

Therefore, here at Vital Luton Town, we’re delighted at the news, as reported by the BBC, that Mick Harford has decided to remain in his caretaker role until the end of the season, thereby giving the Hatters hierarchy the opportunity to take their time and ensure the right candidate is appointed.

By some strange quirk of fate, the news has been announced on the day of Mick’s 60th birthday.

Here at Vital Luton Town, we’d like to wish Mick a happy birthday and we look forward to one of our legends leading us to back-to-back promotions.
