Last week we ran an article covering the fact that Jake Gray had been placed on the transfer-list.

In our article, we suggested that there would be no shortage of takers when it came to the 21-year-old midfielder and that has turned to be the case.

This afternoon, news broke that Gray had put pen-to-paper on a two-year deal at Yeovil Town.

Gray, who arrived at Kenilworth Road from Crystal Palace in August 2016, made 28 appearances for Luton last season, scoring 4 goals.

Talking about his acquisition, the Yeovil boss, Darren Way, had this to say,

‘He played in some very big games last season and was a consistent performer.’

Here at Vital Luton Town we`d like to take this opportunity to wish Jake all the best at his new club.

Finally, as for the fee Yeovil paid Luton for the player, those magic words ‘undisclosed fee` have once again been used.
