From the Opposition Boss!

Whilst Gary Brabin was a little downbeat after the loss last night, ruing the mistake that gave Wrexham the winning goal, the mood in the opposition camp was completely different.

Andy Morrell, in his role as caretaker since Dean Saunders left to join Doncaster Rovers, was celebrating his fifth win on the bounce and although he recognized that good fortune had given his side their break, he had the following to say to BBC Wales,

“It was a really tough game between two teams in good form and we`ve managed to nick it.”

“Our lads were really buzzing. We knew it was going to be hard – I wouldn`t say it was 100 miles an hour, it was probably 150!”

“The lads dug in, defended really well and we`d said that it might take a long time to score. It might take a mistake or something to open it up and Pogs put it away lovely.”

We`ll get our revenge in the reciprocating match, won`t we?
