Sad news reached us today that one of our former players had passed away.

Tony Grealish, a fiery midfield operative has died, aged just 56.

The Republic of Ireland international was a popular character amongst the Kenilworth Road faithful, his distinctive beard and moustache giving him a fearsome appearance.

During his time, Grealish played for Leyton Orient, Luton, West Bromwich Albion, Brighton and Hove Albion, Rotherham, Wallsall and Bromsgrove.

Many will remembering Tony captaining Brighton in the 1983 FA Cup Final against Manchester United, but us Hatters fans will never forget his time in a Luton shirt.

Our condolences go to his family and friends.
