Transfer deadline day saw two Hatters temporarily leave Kenilworth Road.

The duo of Ricky Miller and Solomon Taiwo have both gone to the Conference Premier outfit, Dover Athletic, for a month.

Ricky Miller joined Luton in the summer from Boston United but has yet to feature in our League Two campaign whilst Solomon Taiwo is unlikely to feature in the Luton first team again after slipping down the pecking order..

Talking about the deals, John Still has remarked,

“This move will do both players the power of good. Both are desperate to play regular first team football.’

“We had to be sure about which club to send them to – and we were keen on making sure they were playing at a competitive level. “

“Dover are, like us, up a level having gone up last season and Chris (Kinnear) will look after them both. “

“In Ricky`s case he is returning from injury and this will be a good opportunity to earn some competitive match fitness.”

We wish both players every success on their short loan spells.
