It would appear that the Luton Town career of Jonathan Mitchell is over.

The twenty-one year old has made 5 appearances for the Hatters since arriving via the emergency loan system, from Derby County.

It would seem that an injury to Derby County`s second choice keeper, Lee Grant, which needs an operation, has necessitated the need for Mitchell to be recalled with immediate effect.

Mitchel took over between the sticks at the same time as Mark Tyler orchestrated a move back to Peterborough United.

During his five appearances for the Hatters, Mitchell has impressed and here at Vital Luton Town we`d like to thank the youngster for his contribution to the cause and we wish him well for the future.

You never know our paths might cross again sometime in the near future.
