Could That Win Against Charlton Kick Start A Winning Run For The Hatters?

Last night, at Kenilworth Road, our prayers were answered.

After a run of five consecutive defeats in the Championship, Luton Town welcomed Charlton Athletic to Kenilworth Road for what could be described as a must-win game.

When Charlton took an early lead, it looked as if we were in for another night of frustration and disappointment.

But the Hatters finally got their act together and were quickly back in the game when Pelly Ruddock equalised.

Them, in the fifty-third minute the ground erupted into a cacophony of noise when Izzy Brown, on loan from Chelsea, put Luton ahead, a lead they managed to hold until to grab three vital points.

Those three points lifted the Hatters out of the relegation zone with Luton now occupying twentieth place in the table and three points above the relegation places.

But, as far as I’m concerned, we’re far from being out of the woods yet, this weekend Luton travel to West London to take on Brentford, a side who sits in eighth place in the table having accumulated ten points more than the Hatters.

If Luton, under Graeme Jones, are to climb the table we need to start putting a run of victories behind us, not just getting the occasional win.

Could that run of victories start this weekend at Griffin Park?

Could The Win Against Charlton See Luton String Together A Run Of Wins?

Yes!

No!

Ask Me On Monday!

I sincerely hope so!
