Against Accrington Stanley, on Saturday, when James Collins gave Luton Town the lead, it was the striker`s seventh goal of the season.

Collins, who arrived at Kenilworth Road in the summer, is fast becoming a Hatters favourite and the goal he scored yesterday takes the player to the top of the League Two scoring charts which read,

? Collins (Luton) – 7
? Grant (Notts County) – 7
? Kee (Accrington Stanley) – 7
? Reid (Exeter City) – 7
? Akinfenwa (Wycombe Wanderers) – 6

Nathan Jones, talking about Collins after the game had this to say,

“Collins is a real goal-scorer and you can see how well the partnership is developing with Hylton. We were talking to them about working to push each other along – and that`s what we`ve seen here.”

Hylton, who missed the start of the season through injury, currently has five goals this season.

It`ll be interesting to see which of the duo finishes Luton`s top-scorer.
