Yesterday, I think you`ll all agree, was a poor performance by Luton.

For a side looking to climb out of non-league football it wasn`t the kind of performance that provides the confidence needed to believe in such a goal.

After the game, Paul Buckle tried to offer a few thoughts on the situation but without really convincing anyone when he remarked to the local journalsits,

“The two set-plays have cost us dearly.”

“It was a problem we had looked at and had watertight, but now it`s reared its ugly head.”

“Dartford never caused us a problem in open play, but we conceded two poor, poor goals and we deserved to lose the game because of those two things.”

“It`s the first time in a long while that I`ve been this disappointed, but there are still a lot of games to go and hopefully this is a one-off.”

“If we had been on a terrible, terrible run I`d be a worried man, we`re on a great run and we`re still right in there.”

A great run?

Paul, we`ve taken 0 points out of the last 6 on offer!

I`d hate to hear what you call a bad run!
