The Hatters are on the road this weekend when they travel to Ashton Gate, to take on Bristol City, in a Championship game.

With the 2020 / 2021 season coming to an end, with Luton having just four more games to play, they enter this fixture on a good run of form having taken 7 points from the last 9 available.

As for our opponents, Bristol City, they have only taken 2 points from the last 15 available, it is no wonder, in our poll, the prediction is that Luton will take the three points on offer.

A win, for Luton, would mean the Hatters doing the league double over Bristol City with Luton winning the reciprocating fixture back in December 2020, at Kenilworth Road, 2-1.

With the 13:00 hours kick-off fast approaching, we are now able to bring you the team-sheet.

Starting with our hosts, Bristol City:

Continuing with the Hatters:

As for those chosen to officiate, look no further:

Referee – John Busby
Assistant Referee – Mark Russell
Assistant Referee – Mark Jones
Fourth Official – Jeremy Simpson

Let us push for those three points lads and secure that top-10 finish.

Hi all, not much change then. Let’s hope we start in the same manner as the last 2 games.

Hi all, super result should have had more poor finishing in the first half let us down. But second half outstanding.

    • Mad Hatter says:

How come we can now score prolifically on the road but struggled for most of the season?

      • Chris winter says:

I suspect that njs tactics were to try an nick points till we were safe from religation!!! That hasn’t worked has it!!! Maybe if we had been more expansive earlier we could be up with Barnsley now. Still why are we complaining. All set now for next season an having the fans back God willing then see the difference in performance.

Brilliant 2nd half, never say die attitude is showing through, could easily finish 8th in this form.. Carry that on into next season and it could be very eventful….

  • Paul says:

Great second half performance , but it papers over the cracks in our poor defending in the first half.

  • Alan says:

Just enjoy the win…..many of us have said the defence at the mo is all we have…but remember 2 clean sheets prior to this against 2 top 7 sides….so give them some credit please…..

Morning mh, I see newspaper speculation is increasing about Walton again. Frankly I don’t see Jones wanting him except as backup to sluga who now is undoubtedly our number 1 keeper an is prepared to allow shea to leave. I don’t think sluga will be sold this summer as it stands. And I don’t see Walton wanting to be number 2 do you. Also do you an the posters think he’s an improvement to our present keepers I don’t. It’s just speculation by newspaper

Hi Chris, I’ll cover this later, when i can see properly, just had my diabetic retina checks done and my vision will be all over the place for the next 4 hours, but I don’t think he’d be an upgrade!

  • Alan says:

Hi all, unless a big offer comes in for slug, I don’t see any need for a change….if shea does leave then I think isted is more than capable to cover….

Hi guys, I think it’s all paper talk at the moment. I’m not hearing of any talks at the moment. Just about our last 3 games seems to be priority an anyway nj rarely gets involved with contract talks with players.
