Bristol City 1 Luton Town 1

Sometimes things are just not meant to be, it is a fact of life when it comes to football.

Take last night for example, down at Ashton Gate, Luton Town had to rely on an injury time goal, from Danny Hylton, to secure a point, in a game the Hatters dominated.

It was a game in which Luton, especially in the first forty-five minutes, dominated Bristol City and it is no exaggeration when I say they could have been 4-0 up at half time, with the closest effort being a shot from Mpanzu that rattled the woodwork.

Instead, Luton were left chasing the game when, from a free kick, Bristol City took the lead courtesy of a header from Nathan Baker.

The result saw Luton’s run of games without a win increase to four and the side drop to thirteenth position in the Championship table.

Next up is a visit from Swansea, this Saturday, a win is fast becoming essential.
