Tonight, up in Yorkshire, the Hatters promotion ambitions could take a huge leap forward.
On the day after Luton received the news, we’d all been hoping for relating to the Newlands development, the Hatters travel to Yorkshire to take on Bradford City in a League One clash.
After the 0-0 draw the Hatters earned at Plymouth at the weekend, Mick Harford will be looking to get back to winning ways against a Bradford side who sit second from bottom in the table.
If the Hatters can win, they’ll also be looking towards the result of another fixture, in Yorkshire, this evening, a clash between the two sides challenging Luton for the automatic promotion places, Barnsley and Sunderland.
If Luton, as we hope, can win, then perhaps the best result from Oakwell would be a draw, thereby allowing the Hatters the chance to further open the gap at the top of the table.
