Blackpool v Luton Town – Team Sheets Revealed

Image for Blackpool v Luton Town – Team Sheets Revealed

It’s a long trip to the north-west for Luton Town this weekend when they visit Bloomfield Road, for a Championship fixture against Blackpool.

The Hatters arrive at this delightful seaside resort on the back of a poor run of form with Nathan Jones side only collecting 1 point out of the last 12 available.

A trip to Blackpool is usually associated with a visit to the Pleasure Beach, a kiss-me-quick-hat and the odd candyfloss or two, but Blackpool in December, especially with a cold snap upon us, is a far different proposition.

After an indifferent performance last weekend, it’ll be interesting to see who makes Nathan Jones starting XI.

With the kick off fast approaching we are now able to bring you the team sheets and end the speculation.

Starting with our hosts, Blackpool:

Continuing with Luton Town:

As for the officials, look no further:

Referee – Peter Bankes
Assistant Referee – Wade Smith
Assistant Referee – Shaun Hudson
Fourth Official – Christopher Sarginson

Now, after a run of four games without a win can we please have a win lads?

So no sluga pelly or cornick, but is it really bold. We’ll have to see I’m not overwhelmed.

  • Alan says:

Can’t win can he…..everyone wanted pelly dropped and gomes in….that’s what he has done….

  • Chris winter says:

Cold and windy why no Fred then 2 really pacey players up front no Thorpe so we we have energy an ferocity in midfield that’s what I would have called bold. But let’s see what happens first. Before we say he got it right or wrong again.

I think it’s a start let’s see what happens and how they play and go from there we all wanted changes and got some of them so coyh

Very difficult conditions here today. Was never going to be a classic. The team best adapted to the conditions was always going to win which was us. Now Alan 😊when did you see me call nj out an when did I call for gomes to start all I asked was what was going on with him. In my first post on here all I said was it wasn’t much different from usual an wasn’t exactly brave. That said it was very professional today an what was needed. Very happy weekend now u here 😊

how can this team survive without ruddock. as it happens, really easy. we have better players than ruddock, and must play them. as alan says, people wanted ruddock dropped, and what a difference it made. why did he bring him on for the second half, he just played his usual piss poor passing game. surely everbody can now see ruddocks place in this team is over. i don’t want to get relegated, but you must drop players that do not perform to championship quality. i don’t think favouritism comes into the mix,or does it.???COYH.
