Yesterday, saw a flurry of activity on the loan market, with the Hatters being actively involved as the loan window prepared to slam shut.

Those behind the scenes were willing to let as the BBC, confirmed, the 26-year-old striker, Jake Jervis, join the League Two side, AFC Wimbledon, for the remainder of the season.

Jervis signed by the Hatters from Plymouth Argyle in January, hasn’t had the best of times at Kenilworth Road, making just two starts in the League and failing to score in 13 appearances in all competitions.

The AFC Wimbledon boss, Neal Ardley, had this to say about the signing, as reported by our referenced source,

“Jake has got good pedigree and his goals record from games started is one in three, even though he has spent time playing on the right.”

The move means that Jervis will be playing for his thirteenth club in his career.

Here at Vital Luton, we believe it is a good move for the player who hasn’t been able to establish himself in a Hatters team blessed with the attacking trio of Hylton, Collins and Lee. Perhaps a change of scenery will work wonders for Jake, here at Vital Luton Town, we wish him every success.
